Read gearbox leak

Read gearbox leak
2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport
We brought the Jeep in to have the brakes serviced today and asked the tech if he could identify a small oily leak we have recently developed. He said there is a leak at the rear of the gearbox.
About a month ago we had a new transmission mount installed. At the time I reported that the Jeep rumbled much more than with the old mount and was told that depending on the material used in the new mount this was to be expected.
Is it in any way possible that installing new transmission mount could lead to a leaking gearbox ? It just feels like the timing is right.
