I have enough room to put my daughter in her car seat in my 2 door. That's all I care about.
The ease of other passengers to get in the back doesn't concern me.

1. Don't have to drive as much if people don't like "crawling" in the back = more gas = more wheeling = more money for mods unless the more wheeling makes you break things and pay more more to fix them but whatever you had fun doing it lol.

Trust me, at 17 you probabaly have alot more common sense than when you were 12. What you think yuo stop learning common sense at a certain point or something?
I perfer the 4 door all around. as for rear cup holders, I barly like my wife having a drink in my vehicles, let alone anyone else. People are messy.
If I wanted a vehicle that was difficult to load grocerys / people / parts into I would have bought a wrangler.

I'll give you two door folks one thing...they do look pretty nice with only two door, might be just the fact that i dont see hardly any two doors in my area, but i do like the looks of them...but im learning as i get older that its a lot less about looks and more about convenience and commen sense, and in my book 2 doors are nothing but looks.

ive had a 2 4 doors and now currewntly own a 2 door, i miss haveing a 4door, but at the same time i love haveing a 2 door, seeing as how if there is anyone rideing along with me its usally only my gf , and beside i always have ,my tools and spare parts on the back seat, even when i had my 4 door i used the back seat as storage, ive never really had a use for a 4 door, except for ease of loading and unloading items from the back seat or even behind the seat

I prefer the 4 door for my use because I often haul people and things. The extra doors give better access.
However I just bought a two door for my stepson (18) for these reasons. He is tall (6'6") and the longer door makes it easier for him to get in and out. The two door makes it more difficult for others to ride so hopefully he will have fewer passengers (helping him stay out of trouble). The jeep is 4wd (which he likes) with the 4 cyl & 5 speed (which I like). The 4cyl has less power which should help keep him out of trouble, he has a lead foot.
I do think the two door XJs do look cool though!
Thx-Ace

the only reason I would get a 2 door is to cut it into a pickup
they look pretty good that way. the four door chop top humvee look is not my style
other than that, 4 doors are functional and it just looks better to me.
I like the way the 4 door looks with all the doors off.
and the windows dont look ridiculous
