I love the 4 door...mainly because its easy to put my kid in and take him out...but also makes it more reasonable for passengers riding with you, young to older they all can get in and out easily...i love driving my jeep so if its easy and comfortable for the passengers there's more of a chance people will ride with me rather than me riding with them.

With the 4-door, I can put some stuff in the rear and have easier access to them, rather then having to open the hatch every time. Plus- 4 door has 4 pillars, 2 door has 3, making the 4 door just slightly stronger.

the b pillar on my two door is behind my head so when building a roll cage the b pillar tubing is not in line with my head like it would be in a 4 door. i do have an exo cage with an internal b pillar.
besides that point im not sure if theres a down side to it
