2 door has some different interior pieces that are longer so they are more difficult to find.

Due to the length and weight of the door the doors might sag a little more than the 4 door since they have the same hinges.

2 doors have HUGE windows.

That is all for now.

I personally like 4drs better, due to the fact that of ppl ride with me, and feels great i dont have to open my door and push my seat to the front to let someone out.

My only quirk is that I need a second person to go doorless because those suckers are heavy!

Mine are trimmed, it helps get a bit more flex.

No doubt trimming helps open up room for bigger tires to flex more! It's pretty easy, unless you cut a pinch weld, which on the 4dr, is pretty close to fender lip (on the rear, front is wide open). Here is a pic of 2dr (for reference).. Depending on where the pinch weld is, the 2dr offers more trimming room, I think..

2 door offers more trimming room if you trim past the pinchweld, otherwise the 2dr, 4dr are the same trimming wise

somebody posted that 2 doors have huge windows...they do, and i love my huge windows. great, great view of my surroundings...helps make for safer driving. plus, i prefer 2 door to 4 door for the simple fact that you can hide things in the rear floors of 2 doors and there isnt a door there to open and say " hey cool i found something to steal "

plus, being single and lonely makes it so having 4 doors is depressing if only one of them ever gets opened.

From my experience there are a lot more 2 door 5 speed combos than 4 door 5 speed combos. I have only known 1 person that has a 4 door 5 speed combo. Although finding any xj is a 5 speed seems to be getting harder and harder. Best of luck with your search.
