http://www.audioque.com/HDC312-Coppe...ofer_p_23.html off of either the AQ1200D or 2200D depending on your budget. 1200D is gonna be cheaper, but not as loud as the 2200D. Alternative subwoofers that I would recommend would be the Fi BL 12, or a DC Level 4. If you haven't heard of any of these companies, that's fine. They all come highly recommended in the competition audio world.

I've never been able to find a DC product brand new anywhere either. Check out the For Sale sections on caraudioclassifieds.com and Steve Meade's forums to find a few of them in pretty nice condition. However, I'll stick to my original recommendation of the AQ HDC3 12.

DC is the only place that sells new drivers, call them.

i personally wouldnt waste your money on the type x and just get a type r. ive had both and for the difference in price the type x was no better at all. The type r had allot less distortion and crisper sound

Alpine Subwoofers and Sound quality should not be used in the same sentence.

I personally prefer kicker and kenwood, I got kicker mids, and I just picked up a new Kenwood deck. I have a crappy 10" sub in the back that i plan on upgrading to a comp C. I dont need a crazy system but for what i got i think it sounds pretty good
