Yup. Not the prettiest welds but the dam thing holds. She designed it to fit 7 inch lights at the front.

Guess I'll post another homemade one.

htt<a href="http://s33.photobucket.com/user/mfsj1/media/1999JeepXJ002_zps8658c4a1.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d58/mfsj1/1999JeepXJ002_zps8658c4a1.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 1999JeepXJ002_zps8658c4a1.jpg"/></a>p://

Here is one of it mounted.

That didn't go so well and I can't delete it either.

I will second that, same for my front bumper also the only way to go. No rust on places you can't see and easy to touch up after rubbing on those low hanging tree limbs. Or in my case the small tree's I have to run over every once in a while.

If you off road much a "Rattle Can" paint and touch up is the only way to go. My rear bumper came from the factory with a powder coat once it gets really beat up it will get the same thing.

Hey eaglexj I'm finishing up my roof rack and my width is 48inches I didn't see how wide yours was but I was planning on using the jcr gutter mounts myself. I was wondering how easy was it to get yours on and mounted and if they hold very well on the trails? Thanks.

I can't recall how wide mine is either right now The jcr mounts worked great. My rack wasn't wide enough to contact them at the angle they wanted to go to when clamped on so I welded some plates on top of them to make up the difference.

Be careful when your welding the mounts to the rack, ideally you'll have the rack on your roof so you can be sure the angle of the mounts are correct.

thanks. Awesome job on the rack too ( you have a nice rack lol). I like the pre-runner bar and awesome job on the wiring. I've got to finish up some tig welding and mine should be ready. I was going to fab up my own brackets but figured I would be better off using something proven them some I made.it's all made out of scrap I found at work so I had to piece a lot of it together but were dead at work rite now.

Your tig welding with all that rust on there? No contamination worries?
