I have the highlift laying on its side inside the basket vs on the outside. Nice thing is, if I want the cargo room I can just unscrew the rods and have a clean, open rack. I'll get some pics of the stuff bolted down in case this isn't all that clear.
Front looks weird, rest looks great!

OK, so a lot has happened and my camera hasn't been wanting to work with me. I finally got that straitened out so here's what's new: I got the rack powder coated, the guy did a really nice job on in; while that was being done I painted my light housings and converted them to HID. The rack got back, I bolted the lights on and put it on the jeep.

I ran a gas line between the light mounts and the front bar of the rack. Each light then fed into this one tube which dropped into the roof. It turned out very clean!

All the wires pouring out the end of the line on the side of the jeep

Drilling the hole in my roof was a little scary

I still have to seal the tube to the roof so I'll post pics of that tomorrow.

Man that thing looked funky before. now, it looks friggin' sweet. I wasn't a huge fan of the straight edges, but yours pulls it off really well. Excellent work!

That looks great. Where did you end up mounting, or were will you mount the HID ballasts?

They fit inside the light, behind the lens.

Finished my switch panel for the HIDs.

I ended up cutting up a plastic box I found in my basement to make the base and used some switches I picked up from Auto Zone. It isn't perfect, but It gets the job done.

Just a thought I had. Have you thought about having a disconnect point for the wires in the event you have to remove the rack?

I really never see that rack needing to be taken off. With that said, I don't like unnecessary connections, they tend to cause problems.
