Got interrupted on the first one, and had to restart the arc later, the second one was done uphill with a slight weave...on a Miller 252

I wanna steal it from work, LOL...it is the shiz...I've already told myself, once a few more things get done on the jeep (getting ready to drop a stroker, and just might start saving then, cuz suspension re-vamp is next) I'm gonna get one...

I'll agree with that...Miller is all we use at work. It will be my next welder, damn the price...worth every penny.

If you guys are popping a chub over the 252, you should try out the 350p. I used a 252 for years until I upgraded to the 350p. It's sooooooo nice! I will snap a pic of it later and post it up. Nice thing about the 350 is that I can switch between mild steel and aluminum real fast.

I'd love a 350 but I don't quite need to throw down the change on one yet, if I open a shop up I'll buy one.

You know, if I was doing aluminum stuff, I'd be all over it, but for what I need, I think I'm sticking with a 252. Just as a testimony to how good Millers are, we have an OLD Miller at work, (mp45? not sure, but old) it's got at least 20-25 years on it, of HARD use...and it's still running like a champ. Good enough for me, LOL

I'm trying to buy my co workers 252 but he won't come off of it just because he knows he got a good deal on it but hasn't used it in forever. At work we do a lot of stick and tig. Stick because it's easy to drag it out and burn something together on the floor with a relatively small unit. Tig because we have a lot of stainless and aluminum in the plant as well. We have a 3 in 1 Lincoln that is supposedly the nicest one on the market but no one can use it lol. It is too smart for it's own good. It tries to adjust everything as you start welding and always ****s the settings up so we don't ever MIG anything unless I try to go use it. Anyways, here is a little gusset I added to my bumper today: Welding thread!!!!-image-983899768.jpg And here are some Jeep nipples Welding thread!!!!-image-2797899865.jpg

I welded that with my longevity 140. Very nice unit for the money. It was on sale plus 10% off for being on pirate. Having an issue lately with a little excessive slag and spatter.

Winching, clamping and spreading attachment for my HiLift, I love tig welding. Got a little rusty over night in the bed of the truck.

Upgraded foot for the same Hi Lift. Over twice as much surface area for soft conditions. Again TIG welded simply because I can.
