Just grinding the conduit will NOT make it safe for you to weld. You must clean the surface after grinding and even after that, you still shouldn't weld it without a clean air hood. Galvanized is nothing to mess with.

That the autoarc? Had one for a bit, decent welder for the money. Motor for the wire went out then brother was dumb and traded it away instead of warrantying it out

practiced with some scrap today what do yall think of these welds? keep in mind there were spots where i stopped to see how it looked and i also realize theyre not the straightest either lol
