Haha, me and sheet metal have a special kind of relationship. It cuts me and I blow holes through it lol. But really, anything real thin ill just use tig, its nice being able to control your temp

I can stick weld in my sleep. TIG is the tedious one. Especially when you've got to make xray, surewave, etc. quality welds or else.

Flat weld looks great btw. Have you done any horizontal, vertical, or overhead yet?

Stuff I make... you guys saw the boxes. I have only done XJ upgrade parts. But sometime I'd like to do FSJ bumpers etc.

Did this today...butt welding 1 inch thick steel plate with some TIG welding.

My boss goofed up by ordering it laser cut in center sections when it shouldn't have been cut.

So I had to weld the plates back on the main plates.

Welded them using 1/16 ER70 rods, at 200 amps with 1/4 v-grooves. The welds are 1/2 inch wide.
