Found out today that I was stupid but also figured out that I have done something new
I thought I had a Dana 35
I bought a lock right for Dana 35
I installed in rear
I had to grind down the C-clips outside diameter leaving inside the same. This was so that the sleeve would slide over c-clip.
I tested and worked great. Went on a trail ride and abused the crap out of it. Worked wonderfully.
Then today I found out my rear is not a Dana 35 it is actually a 8.25 lol
I don't know if it is shear luck or if I figured out something new. I am not at all saying it will work for you but it is possible to put a Dana 35 Richmond Lock Right in a 8.25 rear.
Possible reasons I can think of.
Combination of locker being used and the axles worn down enough for locker to fit over shaft.
There are pics in the thread under Advanced Tech called "Should this have worked?"

It looks good but my personal spin on it would be putting the mesh in between the uprights on the original grill. Still a great idea and it looks like you did a great job on it

Ammo can lockbox. I'm too lazy to redo the whole write up so I'll just link to the one on JF.

Here's a couple pics. It's in my Dakota in them but I'm moving it to the XJ and cutting a small hole in the side to mount it where the stock spare tire carrier mount is.

on an unrelated note, those are 96 XJ seats in the pics. If anyone has a first gen Dakota 96 seats are a direct bolt in. Just have to weld in one stud for one of the front mounts.
