Yeah man, I dont take any offense to that.. It was done out of laziness and because the stock one was beat the hell up.. My ultimate plan is to ditch it entirely and make something that will actually hold a winch though. The rear one stays though, I like how it turned out

Thank you very much! And its done, minus a tire carrier, which is a whole other project. I sprayed it with Dupli-Color Truck Bed Armor

so has anyone every just made d rings to go on the stock bumper like welding them on a plate then having it screw into where the bumper is screwed in

I don't feel like the stock bumper would hold up to anything you would need d rings for

im not saying weld the plates to the bumper im saying have them go into the jeep where the bumper is screwed in and re enforce that.
sorry i really dont know how to explain im such a hands on person i have it in my mind just dont know how to project it with words

You probably could with a few cuts into the stock bumper and longer bolts for the bumper mounts. You would want to utilize all the frame mounts (essentially use 3/4" steel to make new mounts) to use them as tow points.
