Has anyone ever "sandwiched" together two or more thinner gauge pieces of sheet metal to create a skid plate (gas in particular)? Trying to get close to 1/8".
A little low on $$$ for the single sheet thick stuff.

help with welding. im still new to the welding with shielding gas and havent had any trouble until last night. i was welding some exhaust parts last night and for some darn reason i couldnt get that bacon frying in the skillet sound. and yes i have gas in the bottle, was welding with .023. any help with that would be great.

I have a question on making my own long arms I have access to most of the tools but just need some measurements really on the arms themselves. And I will be making my own cross member as well

Although its not jeep. Will be using a jeep axle. I want to do a sas I my s10 its 2wd anyone know what I need to fab to do this
