spotlight wiring
My boyfriend just bought me spotlights for my 98' ZJ. I am wanting to mount them on the ladder bars above the sunroof. What is the best route to run the wiring? could anyone provide step by step installation for the wiring?

thanks! where did you run the wiring though? I am wanting to make it look as clean as possible. Is it possible to run it above the head liner and down the front left column without destroying the headliner?
On a side note, what is the minimum amount of lift to clear 31"s on the car? can i still use the stock control arms?

brought it down between the door and body then into the left column until it went under dash then feed through fire wall and did all the wiring under hood looks very clean. ill get pics later today to show you. you probably wont need a lift with 31's other wise probably a 2 or 3 in lift would fit them.

this link will deffinently let you clear 31s while making your truck look a little more aggressive, and its only 57 shipped to your door, and their easy to install. you can use all your stock suspension. but may need new shocks. their is also a 3" kit in there that comes with shocks, and the 3" spacers. i have a set of 3" with rancho shocks and 33"s but i had to do some trimming. good luck.

All you had to do was search "ZJ Budget Boost" on ebay, first result...

This was on my old XJ, but it could be done the same way on your ZJ. The pics aren't quite complete but I think there is enough there that you'll get the idea.
Some junk fog lights I had on the rear rack.
Used split loom to cover the wires, and route it to the "C" pillar area of the roof.
Drilled a hole through the rack into the roof above the "C" pillar to route the wires through the roof, and have them drop onto the Jeep behind the plastic trim of the interior. I used a gromet to protect the wires, and sealed it with RTV silicone after I routed all the wires through.
