Overheating electric fan not working

Default Overheating electric fan not working

I have a 2000 grand cherokee Laredo with the 4.0 I have had a recent problem with overheating so I flushed the whole cooling system put in a new thermostat it's still running warm but not as hot as it was I discovered my electric fan isn't working I tried turning on a/c and it still isn't kicking on any help is appreciated

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter

The fan won't kick on until 219 degrees or when the A/C head pressure reaches between 350-430psi. How hot is your engine getting?

It has gotten to around 240

Do you still have the factory radiator in there?

Have you checked the fuse?

There's no fuse in the furs box for fan there's one under hood tried switching it with one I know works and still nothing

Put power directly to the fan and see if it works. If it does you might have a bad relay. It may be time for a new radiator too. It is 15 years old.
