Intake/exhaust manifold question

Should I remove the intake manifold before trying to access the exhaust pipe(s) to manifold bolts?

Engine: 4.0L

The bolts that hold the manifolds on hold BOTH manifolds together. It's best to remove all the bolts from underneath first. That way you don't crack mounting ears off from the weight.
