Default FlashPaq unable to communicate with ABS Module

This is my first Post on the Forum. Please let me know if I do anything wrong.
I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WJ). I have installed larger tires and purchased a SuperChips Flashpaq for Jeep. The programmer tells me that it cannot adjust for tire size because it is unable to communicate with the ABS Module. Tech support at SuperChips says it should work for my Jeep, but for some reason their programmer is not getting an answer when it tries to talk to the ABS Module. No ABS warning lights are lit on the dash. In addition to not being able to program for larger tires, I am a little concerned that something might be wrong with the ABS Module. Any ideas out there???
Thanks

If there was a problem with the ABS module you would get a warning light. Factory modules don't always play nice with aftermarket stuff.

Thanks for your input. I wonder if any of the other devices out there will work to recalibrate the speedometer, since the flashpaq will not.

i bought the superchips "VIVID" and it seems to have worked fine. I haven't done the lift or "big" tires yet. I'm running 245/75R16's.

Okay, this has come up recently with a guy who wanted to swap a 249 t/c for a 247. The 247 doesn't have a VSS in it and uses either a trans mounted output shaft speed sensor or a rear wheel ABS speed sensor. I'm not aware of which years are involved, but it might have something to do with your problem.
