A/C Evaporator Core repair
I am trying to replace the a/c evaporator on my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo after the $2000 quote I received.
I have the outer dashboard out and the inner dashboard will not come out. It appears that there is something holding it in the middle and I can't locate the problem.
Do you have any instructions from beginning to end on this replacement?
Thanks in advance!

i have a 88 pioneer heater coild i think needs changing. The water that drips into the floor board seems clear, with no smell to it.
Is there anything else that this could be coming from?
Well if it the heater coil, does anyone have a video, or manual to help change this out?
I hope i dont have to drop the dash out, i dont care to loosen it, and move it around, just dont want to take it all out

Ole blue you seem to be THE man here. My son just bought a 1992 Cherokee 4x4 and we need to replace the evaporator. I can't seem to find out how to do it anywhere until I found this site. Would you have the proper procedure to do this? Many thanks!
