Hello,
Needing to replace the AC Evaporator on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Any assistance on where I might go for a video or instructions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
JC

can anyone help with some helpful advice on doing this job? i got a auto a/c place to look at the jeep and they stated the a/c evaporator coil had to be replace and quoted me a $1200 job. If i do this will i need to replace hoses and o-rings to those and whats the steps of the actual a/c system -i assume i have to take it to a place for them to vacuum and to refill and test the system. If someone can give me some advice or give me a good reference i would appreciate that.

You'll need to vacuum the system down after the repair, before having it charged/charging it yourself. The hoses/o-rings don't usually need to be replaced unless they become damaged.
Just wanted to toss this out there for any ZJ owners. I have a write-up for dash removal, etc.
