Default 2000 Jeep GC Evaporator info

Hi Folks,

A friend used his freon detector instrument to help me locate AC freon leak.

All clear under hood , found a large amount leaking inside by the glove box.

Are their any connections that may be loose that one could tighten around the evaporator?

If the evaporator is leaking, what my I be up against to replace this unit?

Thanks for your input on this.

Ren

Ol"Blue, I'd like to dissect the a/c compressor on my 97GC/5.2 and get to the bottom of the whining she is making. Could you PM me the info that you have for this job? Much appreciated

Sorry, but the info has nothing to do with the compressor. It's all related to replacing the evaporator core in the HVAC box in the dash.
