Thank you!
I don't have '98 specific info, but you can decide whether '97 or '99 will work better for you. I'll send you a Private Message.

Default Evap core leak

I have an 01 Cherokee that also has the leak under the dash. Was wondering if someone could send me the instructions for replacing it.

Thanks,

Van

I have a 98' XJ Limited and I think my evaporator core is shot, and i was wondering if this could be done by someone with little to no mechanical know how, and also if anyone had any instructions on how to do it.

I'll send you a PM and you can decide for yourself. I'd advise against it for the novice though. JMO

Dear Ol Blue,

I am also in the middle of undertaking this project. I could use some pictorial assistance as well. '98 Cherokee, 3 knobbed temp. control on the console.

Coffee Commando,
Sincerely

I have a 2001 cherokee with a bad evaporator. Can changing it out really be done in a weekend? My hubby and his buddy are both mechanically inclined, and I don't want to shell out $1700 to fix it. Can someone please provide me with the instructions on how to do it and any tips/tricks/do's and donts? It would be such a huge help!
