thanks ol blue. had dash out 1 month ago to replace lever for defrost door. wish evap would had gave out before then. found leak detector on rail. i know from reading to also change heater core. my question to you is would you suggest dealer parts or after market and what brand for the latter. have a good weekend take care, joe

I haven't done one of these on a Jeep so I'm sorry I can't recommend a particular company/brand over the dealers parts.

Son has a 95 ZJ with the musty smell coming from the vents. Could sure use the procedure on how to take this beast apart.

Unfortunately I think I also have the same problem as everyone else on this thread. I recharged my AC and after 24 hours no more cold air. So I recharged again with dye added, and I can't find the damn leak. It's not in the grill, its not in the engine compartment on the lines or other components. So I am assuming my AC Evaporator has a leak in it. OL"BLUE can you PM me your info for pulling out the dash and so on. Thanks a million.
