Default Abs light/ handbrake light intermittent

Hi guys fresh n still reeling from my battery problem ( nearly burnt mi Jeep)!
Got the abs light and sometimes the handbrake on light lit on my readout! They keep coming and going ( not always together ). Was thinking maybe some crud in a sensor? Only recently started happening ! Nothin other have I noticed until today- pedal seems hard and not braking as efficiently as was! Again this is intermittent! Sometimes even when lights are lit it seems to brake well, then hard pedal will return!?
Anybody experienced this/ rectified it?
Thanks

When I say only recently started happening- it was like it prior to battery problem!
Pretty sure the two are unrelated.
Thanks

Okay, I'm only guessing on the hard pedal, but if you look at the brake booster, there is a plastic valve where the hose goes into the booster. This valve may be sticking and not allowing the engine to draw a vacuum resulting in a hard pedal sometimes, or the hose is soft and collapsing.

The ABS light I wouldn't worry about and if it's bothering you, take out the bulb. My ABS light comes on randomly even when I'm sitting and idling and not touching the brake at all. You can pull out the instrument cluster easily. It's held in by a trim strip with 2 spring clips and 4 phillips screws. I took out my bulb and only have to put up with the chime now.

The hand brake switch is under the center console and may be out of adjustment.
