Do you have a question?

You also don't need to scrap a car because the transmission went. Curious as to what transmission you have? If you don't know, what engine do you have?

Lucas Oil Transmission Leak Stop-Fix. Pour it into your transmission fluid and it will lubricate the gears to make shifting smoother. It's less than $10 at AutoZone, Pep Boys, and other auto parts stores. Try that first

It's probably just the governor pressure sensor. Change the solenoids before you condemn the transmission.

check for codes, and the trans is a 42re or 45re, shift pack solenoids get plugged up with debris because of not doing trans filter change at the right interval, there is a secondary screw in filter, that when it plugs up give you those symptoms.
