Default 2002 wj won't start without using gas

I bought a 2002 Grand Cherokee, limited, 4.0, and has about 160,000 miles. Most recently I've been having a problem starting it, usually the first start of the day, it will turn over but not completely start up unless you give it gas and keep it revved at about 2,000 RPMs for 30 seconds and then it will run fine. Usually after that initial start it will run good and sometimes it will go days without doing it again. I have been doing everything I can think of to try and fix it but I just can't figure out why it's doing that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have replaced numerous parts, new battery, cables, o2 sensors, spark plugs, tps sensor, idle air control valve, cleaned throttle body, fuel filter, air cleaner, coolent system flushed and filled, had alternator checked, fuel pump runs when key is turned, checked ignition switch with no sign of issues. Has anyone else had this issue? It also is an R title but this didn't start happening until about 6 months after buying it. Thanks in advance for any tips or suggestions

I would run a fuel pressure test. The pump could be on its way out.

Did replacing the fuel pump fix the problem? I'm having the same issue with my jeep.

I doubt it's a blown gasket without other indications like loosing coolant or steam from the tailpipe. Also weak compression in 2 adjoining cylinders.

It's fixable you know!

Default Hope yours is different

That’s what is wrong with mine just had the cylinder back pressure tested and got bubbles in the radiator. Hopefully yours is something different but it looks like I get to do a head gasket good luck

2002 WJ? I would suspect a cracked cylinder head being the actual culprit.
