My jeep has cancer
Here is the worst side. (I know this is nothing compared to some, but it still needs to get fixed)
Theres another spot like this on the other side at the same place.

That trim panel is a royal PITA to get off cause the latch mechanism for the hatch. I am going to have my bud patch it. It turns out, it was alllll wet under the carpet, even though the carpet wasnt wet? My hatch leaked for a week or two before I changed how my CB Antenna was wired, so that probably caused the wetness. But this was from those screws for the plastic trim. Water splashes up from the tires and works its way in there.

Take the carpet out and throw it the hell away.
I pulle d mine after two weeks of HOT DRY weather, and there was STILL moisture (and RUST) under it.
I am finding more and more rust at the seams UNDER the seam "sealer"... so be warned.
The holes will be patched on mine, then I am scuffing everything and painting it with something when I'm done.
