Default Ty's 96 XJ Build

Okay, I started building in may, so I am going to overview what happened so far. Post up if you have any questions on the nitpicky stuff that I wont cover because, like I said, just an overview.

Okay so I got it like this. 221K, 5 speed, 8.25 (yessss), barely any rust, bone stock!

I was really bugging out to get it bigger, but didnt have money for tires and wheels. But then I got a flat while wheeling it, and had to buy some used tarz. I got my buddies old ravines with 30" GSA's for 200 bucks. I was pleased. It looked much better too!

I also did a cold air intake (needs to be done better hehe), and a thrush turbo cat back.

Then I joined/started a Jeep club with some buddies (Jeep Fiend Club) and they freakin HOOKED ME UP with some parts. Free shocks, stabilizer, front skid, cb antenna, TB Drop Bracket, Tires. It was the happiest day ever hahah

So then I bought 3" RC Coils from a buddy for 20 bucks, and 2" RC Shackles for 40 bucks. (I am on a high school budget btw).
I installed those, and my front shocks in a mad dash before a trip to rausch
I ALSO got some free tires like 2 days before Rausch from another buddy of mine!

See the sag!!!!!

SO then, I wheeled that sum bich

In the mean time, I got some free fog lights that I never wired up because they were all cut up (wires in the back) and I figured I am going to get new HELLA 500s when I get my roof rack so I will just put them on to make the kid who gave them to me happy
I also went doorless

Well the sagging was starting to **** me off! So I got a new leaf pack from the guy who gave me the coils for the price of a hoagie and a coffee from Wawa
I got a new bushing for it (one was shot) and I did my shocks. Broke all 4 bolts. Drilled and tapped. It is over and I never wanna see them again

WALLA! No more sagging! It has some rake, but hey, no biggie. That just means I can lift the front more!
Then (2 days ago) I got my roof rack that I have wanted for so long for 100 bucks. Needs to be powdercoated though.

So far, I like it! Its a little bigger than I would have hoped, and if it cuts down on MPG alot, I am gunna PC it, then sell it for 200 bucks. And buy a low profile one. It DOES hold my treestand GREAT though

And that is where I am at as of yesterday

Hope you like.

Track Bar Drop Bracket. It is suposed to lower the track bar I guess. Idk I didnt use it yet. I probably wont either. It is better to get a longer one. But it is brand new still

Adjustable track bars work best. My opinion for what it's worth.

Thanks everyone!

And yeah I like the wheels too, it looks clean, and keeps the weight down, but I need more backspacing. I will probably go with some silver american racing outlaw 2 wheels, or soft 8's
