Took it wheeling today...without brakes
Let me say that HOLY ****. Its so nice. I didnt think I would notice the 3.55's compared to the 3.07's but it was instant. Wheeling, road driving, everything was just better. I have vibes at 20 and no brakes was interesting but you dont need either in 4lo
And the long arms! I went up on the rock in the picture forward first (no pics cause I couldnt brake to hold it) and I thought I missed the rock thats how smooth it flexed. It was SO nice

Hard to believe it looked like this a year and 2 months ago tomorrow

So....today...sucked lol. Went to do wheel cylinders and ended up replacing all my brake ****. Then I cut up templates for half doors and had matt weld em on. Thanks again.
Thats all i got done...I got 6/8 of my bolts taken out of the tcase to drop it to find the last 2 (didnt see em at first...even tho they were on the bottom) and I realized...**** I need to drop the xmember skid to get these out. WELL thats a bit of a problem seeing that my long arms bolt to it :/ So I have 2 options here I want you guys to comment on.
1) Chock the wheels very well and just drop my xmember with the arms still bolted to it. Then take the tcase out of the jeep and do my SYE.
2) Do the SYE in the jeep.
Idk which will be more of a pain. I am leaning towards option two right now...
Still gotta bleed the brakes, do hood vents, finish half doors, and do this ****ing SYE

Ok...so the SYE was.....FUN!
Took me 4 and a half hours, and I did it in the jeep. All I have to do yet is torque the yokes down and press a new ujoint into my DS 8)
Pictures in backwards order

Halfdoors are welded sloppy...because I didnt take my time to cut the metal, but I dont care they are trail doors and will look good from afar.
Rear DS is u-jointed up and ready to be bolted in
I have to put some bolts in my tcase (i forgot to reassemble the 6 our of 8 bolts I took out to take my tcase off before I found out I couldn't)
I have to tighten up the hardlines on my rear axle cause they leak
I have to adjust my drums
I have to get my old swaybar links off (who knew its impossible to find a Metric 7mm Allen Wrench) and put the new ones on
I have to torque everything down again just to be sure I didnt miss anything
And I have to do my hoodvents
Most of that is simple stuff so it should be ready for saturday! I hope...

Drove it yesterday. I still ave vibes when I decellerate at like 45-50 because my pinion angle but the other vibes are gone. And it doesnt ever vibe when I am on the gas cause the axle turns up a little bit when under stress.
BUT the reason why I am posting this and NOT wheeling is because my ****ing brakes.
Heres what happened.
So the old bleeder valves on my calipers wouldnt budge....AT ALL. And I had NO brakes
So I went and got new calipers. No biggie right? They were cheap once I get the core charge back. We go to install them and we use the brass washers on the caliper bolts...not around the brakeline block...duh. Well after tightening them down we realize what we have done so we put them on the block...but they were a little messed up so they didnt seal properly. We go to pump the brakes nd it just blows out and goes everywhere! So I tighten the passenger side down more...and what do ya know, it strips the ****er right out. So today I am probably going to go buy another caliper and try again. Its only 23 bucks I am losing...but I dont have the ***** to try to return them at napa and then go to autozone to get the same ones. I spend alot of time in Napa and i dont want a bad rep with those guys
