Okay, so some things have happened these past few days. The 31's turned out to be 29's (his dad told him otherwise when he sold him the truck). But right now I am running them on my Cragars. They look small, but it works. He also gave me a HITCH! So I am still so stoked.
But a plan for my tire situation has developed. My buddy Andy has a set of 31's on Outlaw wheels. I am gunna sell him my new tires (brad is the one who told me to do this so its not like I am ****ing him over), and use his tires/wheels until I have some coin saved up. The ravines I used to have are on ebay now too, so the combination of that money, the money from my new tires, and the money I should be getting once I start working should give me around 500 bucks within a month. So I am gunna scan craigslist until I find a deal...or have enough dough to buy new tires...still not sure what I wanna get. Either Maxxis Bighorns, KM2's, or Coopers....IDK.
Any input would be awesome.

Playin in the snow with the small A/T's...they didnt last long :P

Just sold my Ravines, and those A/T's I was running. I have 500 bucks to spend on tires now!
Right now I am borrowing 31" A/ts on Outlaw2 wheels, from a guy in my club, and the 31's look really good. My dad doesnt want me wearing these out, so we are ordering 31x10.5R15 Maxxis Bighorns once they are in stock again. I dont wanna go much bigger since I only have 3.07's.
I am going to swap auto axles in come spring time, but even then, 32's would be a bit doggy, and I dont have the money to be spending on gas/more lift/steering/SYE. Etc etc. I am gunna do a small budget boost on top of my 3.5" kit now, and trim some fenders and call it a day.
I just cannot justify getting gears and whatnot right before college, since I wont even drive it all next year :'(

Not sure where I left off. but long story short.....I bought Firestone Destination M/T's today. I took a day off of school to pick em up and do some fender trimmage. I only got the passenger side done before work but here is what we have. I love em. Pictures make them look small...:/ I need more lift. I am planning on getting ~4.5". Upgrading track bar, and doing an SYE or the Rusty's 1" Drop skid temporarily
Pics

Still need to smooth some edges off and get some of that adhesive rubber trim for it. I just ran out of time

Hokay, so I ballsed up finally today and tackled this with the guidance of Jay.
First things first, take off the flare.

Notice, PINCH WELDS
These are important. You dont wanna cut through them, and you REALLY dont want to cut them off (Hence, cut and FOLD)
Now, I masked it all off to save the paint more than anything.

Then you make a bunch of cuts (more in the curves). The height of these cuts is CRUCIAL to how nice it will look in the end. I didnt do so hot on thise. I still need to clean up the finished product. But what you wanna do is reach up behind the fender, and feel where there is a 90 degree curve. You want to cut to right below that. And make all your cuts the same height.
Like so

Then, fold dem sum biches over with a pair of vice grips or needle nose pliers

You can only go so far with the pliers, then you have to get a mallet out, and whack em under

Your going to lose paint, I dont care what anyone says. So stay tuned for part two where I clean it all up, and paint it.
This turned out kinda ****ty, but it works, and will look bettter when I clean it up

Even though nobody is listening I will attempt to keep this build updated haha
Put on a cherry bomb last night (well tried), and it was too long. Yadda yadda. I hate exhaust work. Anywayysss. I ended up with a cherry bomb coming out of my cat. And no tail pipe. All the rest is in the back of my jeep lol. I have inspection monday before rausch (thursday-friday) so it will be fixed. It was all free anyways. I am prob gunna get the cherry bomb vortex and call it a day. Here is what I did today to clear the air after last nights frustration. And a video of my exhaust. I feel like I am driving a civic with 8" exhaust HAHA

Kinda hard to hear over the fan in my engine. I shoulda let her warm up for the fan to turn off. Whatever, video never captures exhaust sound good.
I put adhesive trim on my fenders. And bent the antenna mount my buddy brad made for me, and mounted it up. I am gunna put a self tapper in there, so it is more sturdy
And pics
Bend CB Antenna mount in vise

Bolt on with bolt from tail light

Low profile eh?

Mock up, its pretty wobbley right now.

Mmmmm perty
