I'm thinking I'll get a truetrac put in when I regear for the 33s. I have the np242 and like the full-time option.

How hard would you say the gear install was? I need to re gear for my 33's and wasn't sure if I should diy or outsource the work.

I haven't done the gear install yet, I'm waiting until I can afford 33's. The locker install however, was pretty easy. Just gotta take your time and read the directions.

Definitely let us know how the DIY re-gear goes. I've been throwing around the idea of re-gearing, since I have a spare set of 3.07 axles laying around. I'm just having a hard time justifying the cost.

If you have the time and right tools, then anything is possible.

Thanks! I'm looking forward to it. I've started saving up my pennies already for them. I think I might also get the V2 flares from Napier, since they work with cutting and folding the lower rear quarter, which I need to do because of rust. They'll also give me the clearance to run the 33's, and they'll look good with my Napier hood vents.

Looks prudy. Guess you can't really shave much off to worth the time. I was thinking of how this riddler cover looks. Does the cover stick out at all past the lines on the side?

The cover sticks out a little bit on the sides, but overall I like it. The bottom part doesn't stick out too much, so I decide to save time and not grind it off. Overall I'm really happy with it. I'm waiting for the U bolts and plates to come in, then it'll be done. Probably by the end of next week.

I'll probably get the riddler cover for the reason that it's very snug and can grind the pumpkin down. I love my SOLID cover on my 35 and I can't wait to get one for the 30 but it looks much better on the 8.25 and even the 8.8s look a little weird to me. I blame the excess of lip material where the bolts are. But the axle looks great.

Thank you. I really dig it. I love the gold colored bolts they use for the cover.
