Been a long time since I've been on here, almost 3 years! Been busy with house projects and also my new build (2011 JK unlimited). You can never have enough Jeeps!

Needless to say, I've gotten a bit done on my Frankenstein XJ. Was able to weld on a tire carrier for the rear, replace the gasket on my tranny (as it was leaking), and also installed an all electric cooling system so I could get rid of the power robbing mechanical fan. Will have posts up and coming regarding both of the upgrades, for now, here's a pic of my double trouble toys.
I'll fix the links to the videos up above (as I had to redo them due to music copyright laws)!

So I had purchased a Tomken rear bumper tire carrier as it was at a bargain price, but I don't have a Tomken rear bumper, and it was bolt on....time for some welding
Took a few measurements, tacked her up and checked for levelness / function, then welded it out, turned out perfect!
(minus my crappy welds... lol)

Next on the to-do list was the leaky tranny, since I hadn't driven her around any for a while, I was starting to notice a small puddle of tranny fluid, so I figured it was time to give her belly a little scratchin
Everything cleaned up pretty nicely and for 155kmi on her, the tranny is looking good. Used a rubber gasket, not a cork one (as the parts store said they would have to order it, but had rubbers on hand). kit came with a new filter so that was changed too
