Default radius arm installation

so it's definitely been a while, but i finally got around to installing the long arm kit (heat's let up a bit so i could work). i've got the cross member in and the passenger side radius arm. next up will be to hack off the driver side bracket, then install the arm. here's a few pics

Default radius arms done

k, so i finally got the driver's side bracket cut off, and then bolted up the driver's side radius arm. everything said n done, it was fairly easy (minus the heat!). time to go test it out!

Default swaybar discos

so i got some rc swaybar discos in and put them on. the only difficult part was the fact that my old swaybar bolts on the axle were rusted onto the axle, so i had to drill them out everything else went fairly quick

next up will be some extended bumpstops for the front to keep that front fender from crunchin

Thanks 98cherokee531! People are actually suprised how much I have into it though (considering what most trucks and Jeeps cost these days, not to mention rock buggies). Most expensive mods were the rear axle swap, y-link arms, the rims / tires and the Jeep itself....(in order from least expensive to most).

As long as your happy, who cares how much you got in it. When someone asks just shake your head and smile haha

Default y-link test, hidden falls

so i must say i was very impressed at the rc y-link kit, excellent flex (with all links attached), didn't unload while going on some steep inclines (even though that's what i heard they do), soft ride all around, and excellent ride on the highway (to the trail & back!). so here's a few good shots of the trip to hidden falls. more pics and youtube video to come soon.

Default Hidden Falls Suspension Test

So here's a vid. showing how the suspension handled over things. I do think I need to start offroading with my swaybars connected when I have my spare on the roof, it felt a little tippy on a few occassions. All in all I am extremely happy with how smooth these y-links ride (mainly cause I had been riding on 8" with short arms for a long time, lol)
