Thanks man! Hopefully I'll have some more updates soon. The universe and weather have not been on my side.
I'm moving at the end of the month, lucky me. Also have lots of other stuff going on that may prevent me from getting time in with the Jeep, but I'm really hopeful that my new rear bumper arrives within the next week or two so I can paint and install it, and also, I picked up a ZJ gas tank skid for 40 bucks that I'm going to install. More pics of that later.

Not trying to hi jack the thread at all but I recently encountered a similar issue I got new wheels with 3.75 bs and had my fenders trimmed with no flares and maine state law says the tires hae to be covered so I had to put flares on so I decide rather then spending 500 on some flat BW FLARES I'd make a similar style just my own flare for a total of $8.42 :-) I used 3/4 conduit ad some old door skins from work came out mint bed lined them for the finish

So, now that it's *finally* nice outside, it is finally bedliner season!
Monstaliner will be done this weekend (how many times did I say that in my thread here? LOL). I even took off Monday for a 3 day weekend to assure that it's done. Last night I started doing all of the interior trim pieces with Duplicolor spray bedliner. So far it seems that it has turned out very well--but time will tell. Doing these pieces last night has definitely stirred up excitement for Monstaliner now.

Also, here is my ZJ skid plate that I will be installing soon. It's in fantastic condition, but will be getting a shot of paint before install. Hopefully doing all that when my bumper arrives.

Other to do's...
-Flip front lower control arms around since they are on backwards
-Chop and redo rear part of exhaust to avoid conflict with leaf springs (PITA)
-Thoroughly clean floors and interior for the bedliner after sanding it
-Remove flares for exterior bedlining
-Fix rusted rear bumpstop area on unirail
-Replace vapor canister bracket
Fun stuff!

I am just going to do the floor on mine; not messing with the trim and panels. Although when I get around to doing the exterior of the vehicle, I'm going right over the fender flares so everything "matches."

Good plan! I'm just doing my interior, lower trim panels, rockers and up to the style line on the doors/fenders. I'm hopeful for a nice turnout

Hey everyone! Well, it sure has been a busy weekend over here in Central PA for me. I finally got the Monstaliner project just about done. The interior is done, but unfortunately I ran out before I could finish up the exterior of the doors (up to the style line where the trim used to be). Here are some pics from the weekend!
In addition to the trim pieces before, I painted the center console also with Duplicolor Truck Liner...came out pretty decent! Anything beats the factory gray..terrible interior color.

Time to get down to the real work. Here is the interior, all scuffed, cleaned and taped and ready for first coat of Monstaliner.

I had my trusty (and sexy!) helper with me today, seen here with the drill mixer, preparing the pot.

The first few rolls!

She's definitely a keeper.

First coat done! Monstaliner requires 2 coats.

Here's a peek at the door jamb area I did, I also coated the rockers. As I said, I unfortunately ran out before I could get to the doors, those will have to wait.

After the first coat, it would've been about 8pm before it would be ready for the second, so I decided to let it sit overnight and finish it the next day. It is okay to do up to 36 hours after first coat with Black ML. Looking back, I would've got my *** up early to get it all done in one day, because tape lines would definitely come out cleaner that way. Anyone reading this considering Monstaliner, do what you need to do to get it done in one day.
Anywho, the second coat was finished up today, and it's looking real pretty!

I'm excited to get it all back together. But first, I need to get an extra quart to finish the doors, and also some more Chassis Saver to fix my seat brackets. I want to do that before getting it back together. I also removed all Bushwacker flares to properly do the doors, so I'm a bit frustrated at this point that I have to wait for more funds, on top of shipping, and on top of moving out in two weeks! Yikes!
Overall, I'm thrilled with the Monstaliner so far and would definitely do it again.

Looks good man! Two weeks and you're waiting on goodies... Lmao. I can't remember, does your destination have a garage or are you going to be stuck doing work in the driveway?

That looks sweet! Monstaliner is good stuff. I got some colored samples from them but it was more than I wanted to spend just to coat the floor of my old beater jeep. Does seem to be a much better product than the rustoleum bedliner I used.

Hell no. Carpet is long gone. Got rid of it last year. So far I'm extremely impressed with the Monstaliner and am overly excited to get the interior all back together. I'm more excited to get more of it because I want to finish the doors / bottom part of fenders and I need to do that before putting the flares back on.
Awesome build. Just read the whole thing. How's the CCNA going? I'm in school to become a network admin eventually lol. I liked this build alot because you are doing many of the things I have planned. Like chassis saver and monstaliner, Froelich shift linkage, etc..
My first question is why did you have to grind off that factory stuff that they spray in the corners of everything? Was it preference or required? Up until now I was planning on just rolling over it.
