Not really much to update--I was driving it all last week due to some drama with my car which is now fixed. Still waiting on my rear bumper, that's the next project. Trying to lay low the rest of this crappy winter! I'm ready for spring so I can do my Monstaliner!

Mark @ Detours said probably 4-5 weeks. It's been about two so far. No real updates from him, but I know he does quality work and is backlogged with tax season, and also I think his new roof-mounted light bar rack has been a hit item. So I'm trying to not bug him too much and be patient, even though I'm dripping with excitement.

I suspect that the bumper will be done before I finish my interior...but once it's warmer out, that's the first thing on the list. Going to remove the interior again and I also might get some new seats from a junked Mazda 626. Try to attach my seat brackets to it, or fab up some. The brackets will be getting the wire wheel/Chassis Saver treatment. Then hopefully shortly after that I'll be ready to lay down the Monstaliner. I've been trying to do that project for a year now, lol.

Also on my radar is the 231 swap w/ slip yoke eliminator. Problem is that I don't have $300 for the SYE + new u-joints for my spare shaft (they are all shot). So whenever I have the extra fundage, I'll be working on that as well.

U got a 231 sitting by right? A SYE kit. Cost around 160-200.

Yes and yes, but for 3 new u-joints is going to be about 90 bucks, plus shipping. Unless you know of a combo deal on some spicer 1310s?

I was really shooting for Spicers. I guess I could go the moog route. Do they have a grease fitting in the corner?

I'd get them from Amazon because free shipping. And really, they're the exact same? I've heard mixed things on them
