Well thanks for keeping us posted man, and best of luck with the 98, Chilie Pepper Red looks awsome in the sunlight, changes from red to orange and looks awsome if its kept clean. Sorry to hear about the sucky insurance though, im sure you'll get some cash out of it. Thats one of the best things about XJ's, You can almost always get money out of them no matter what the condition because parts are always in high demand.

That would look sweet, and I agree on the chili pepper, its what made my buy my first XJ, And if you get it be sure to post pictures, lots of them lol But if its rust free the first thing id do for this weather is undercoat it. Im not sure how much they salt the roads in Min. but over here in NY they coat them to the point that my xj looks white after driving for an hour.

i was wearing my seatbelt and was hanging upside down when i heard people running over and frantically trying to get the door open but they were both stuck closed. i ended up crawling out the pass side on my back which cut it up from the glass and my hand got a few cuts but im doing just fine. a little shooken up but just fine. when the cop got there nobody said they witnessed it and the old lady stopped but the cop let her go cause he thought she wasnt involved. he came over to me and i told him it was her but she had already gome. i remember the plate and it was a gold park avenue..they say they should be able to track her down and i hope to god so so i can get some money for the jeep.

i only have liability on it so im gonna have to drag it home and part it out. i might be buying a honda accord that needs a distributor or fuel pumo for $250 to get me by til i can get the money for a nice truck. but for the time being, i dunno how im gonna get all the parts off cause its illegal to have a vehicle in pieces in the driveway so ill have to see if i can sell it whole.

anyways, i have pics from the scene but i have to get them off but heres some pics i got from the tow yard when i got there today..after paying the damn $375 in fees >

Too bad you don't live near southern Utah. some stupid A traded in a 98 two door with 75000 for cash for clunkers. it was in perfect condition, great for a body swap. not even the gastank skid or any other had a single BB sized dent. Nice build though, hope it doesn't end.

thanks guys im glad you liked it. it was a fun project but she was having her issues so had it not rolled, it may have blown up. i got it home today and ended up cranking it over and it fired right up! had to drive it up the driveway to get it in the garage. gonna start tearing it apart tomorrow.
