yeah i dont even know how much ive spent..so many times ive come close to selling it and getting a truck (only wheel it like 4-5 times a year) but after looking back at all the times ive had with it..i dont think i could bring myself to sell it. plus if the plan the gf and i have for the future goes as planned, the jeep will play an important part in it.

haha pretty much, well, school is coming up in january and need to get a DD (not that this isnt reliable and i can afford the gas, i just want it to be more of a toy). so i took off my swingout (for sale) so i can sell it and get a winch and put the rest towards getting a DD. plan is to get a dakota so i can haul stuff for work so i get more hours and i haul alot of stuff anyways so a truck would be very nice to have..but i love the jeep to much to sell it.
anyways, painted and threw my old bumper on for now..gonna try to find a receiver hitch too..believe it or not, all the junkyard hitches are rusted through. no joke, i poked 2 of them with a screw driver and they caved in.
heres some pics

so thats the plan, right now im just getting everything ready for winter (hitch, paint scratches that are down to medal, clean up fenders, thats about it)
soooo, probably no update for awhile

Ah, i was just pointing it out was all, and during the winter if your going to be driving it id throw another nut on and hook everything back up. I know last year it came in handy because someone almost rear ended me but i saw them and got out of the way in time...just saying you gotta be careful during them winter months.

as promised, pics of the intake. i also took the winch cover off, cleaned up the underside rust on the bumper and painted, took the light gaurds off the bumper to make life easier when installing the HIDs.
anyways, the intake is just some left over 3" exhaust tubing from a buddies truck, a cone filter and a brass nipple from menards for the blow by. i just drilled it one size smalled and hammered in the nipple and used some hi temp sililcone to hold it in place. i can pull on it and it wont pop out and hasnt so far.
i painted it so it wouldnt rust. i used some hi temp paint to match the jeep haha..inside joke, my co-worker has an orange mazda protoge and he did a cold air intake and spent $150 getting it custom painted orange to match his car.

6000k HIDs should be here monday, bushwackers should be here next week as well. that means i have to grind down the welds on the fenders and paint it too in that time..
so we had a tj come in to work the other day..had some corroded and flaking american racing wheels. he bought 4 soft 8s and we were gonna toss the ARs. i said what the heck, ill take em, theyre free. wire wheeled them all and painted them krylon flat black.. they came out decent..put my 34s on them. im thinking about painting my soft 8s this color too. i like it
