might weld on a hoop to my c4x4 bumper but other than that, a winch, maybe another aftermarket rear bumper later, then just small things here and there till it becomes a trail only jeep haha

well, after bending my hatch jamb cb mount atleast 4 times wheeling, i decided to go throught the bumper. i used just a simple cb mount with no spring to a 3" firestik. sits about level with the top of the hatch and it can bend enough to move it when opening the hatch and then it clears the hatch when its open. it may seem like an inconvenience to some, but just knowing i can now take tight trails without worrying about bending it and pulling out the self tappers makes it worth it already. if the reception isnt the greatest, i will just get a 4' antenna. i have a 4' firefly but it had to much flex and would hit the hatch.

other than that my buddy and i are gonna put on my bushwackers right after halloween. ill probably do a ****ty paint job on the fenders since they wont be seen and do a better paint job in the spring. it works for now.

Whats your plan for the rear bushwackers with your folded quarter panel?
I chopped mine for foldin my rear panel..just havent done the rear panel yet. Alot more clearance and it looks good

thanks yeah i might chop the flares or was gonna weld on a plate and finish out the quarter panel. idk though. yeah my buddy is gonna help me out with them
Its funny that so many people say how much a pain it is to install the flares. I was already trimmed so it took 10 minutes a flare for me. Basically hold em up in position, mark the holes, take em off, drill, then mount. Easy. And with our two doors there is no lining up with two pieces necessary.

yeah my biggest battle will be bending the fenders. i dont think i have one straight fender on my jeep. i went wheeling with my 35s on the 4.5" lift with minimal bumpstopping. very bad idea

Hey man, first things first I just checked out this build for the first time, went through every page and damn what a nice truck.
But let me ask you, would you be able to direct me to the seller or the ad you got your HID lights from?
Thanks
-Mike

theres the HID kit i got..only thing is that has a hi/low kit which i guess requires a control module which i didnt get..so my drivers side ballast got a little messed up and no will shut off after warm up and i have to flip on the brights and then go back to low beams and it will be good until i shut it off the next time. i think next time im just gonna get the regular HIDs with no hi/low

so i have to work at 6 tomorrow so i couldnt go out and party..gf had the day off too so she came over and decorated with the fam and i. found some old costumes and strobes so we decorated the jeep too. mom said it was a hit and said every parent had to take a picture with their kids infront of it. the gf and i dressed up and went and rented the crazies with some friends. i took some pictures before we left though haha

and to keep it a build, im working 60+ hours a week right now so i have more money than time. i think im gonna schedule and appointment with IRO to have them pull the axle shafts, change both ujoints with 760s and weld on the IRO almost alloys.
