heres my list of things i need to do before then

-long arms
-OTK steering
-finish up rear bumper and tire carrier
-re-wire up cb
-wire up reverse lights
-wire up aux back ups on the tire carrier
-put in new brake lines
-new rear brakes
-fix e-brake
-drill out jcr box spacer to get the last bolt in for bumper
-get the other two snapped factory back bracket bolts out
-ofcourse check all fluids
-find a place to put the high lift

then after the crawl when i get money i should be getting a winch and putting in my 7" lift once i get a new tracbar. gotta find a second job too. my current job cut me down to like only 20 hours a week because i want to go back to school

you make $40 in 2.5 hours?

btw, screw the neighbors. Keep the noise down or don't work during hours you're not allowed to but other than that there isn't much they can do, just clean your jank up afterwards. Its not any more noise pollution than mowing the lawn.

I'd be willing to bet they're just jealous if they're being that **** about it.

Zach I think he meant $40 a week working 2.5 hours a day.

yeah before taxes i make around $15 an hour with only like $130 pay checks. during winter rush i make like $700 a week haha.

as for neighbors..even cordless drills bother them because they like to leave their windows open and want to hear the wilderness

but yeah i got my buddy that helped me install my sye, he just got an R/C truck again and im giving him a good motor/esc setup in exchange for him letting me use his garage for the long arms and OTK haha

dude I hate that. not even fair. If I made that much I'd be rolling in dough. what do you do exactly?

are you serious? they need to move to a log cabin in the ****ing woods. lol.

If you lived near me, I'd let you use my garage whenever. my neighbors are really chill about me and my roommate working on cars.

My house has become the "work on Jeeps" house because i'm one of two guys who have a garage among my Jeep buddies.

hah nice man i work at discount tire. im kind of a gold digger tho haha i spend a little on the jeep and put the rest into a fund for school. luckily my gf doesnt ask for much either and likes being in the garage with me. she even pays for me sometimes when we go on dates which is how i afford stuff haha. but yeah i was offered multiple times to go full time and go towards management but i want more and dont want to be stuck in retail.

full timers make $40-$50k a year but are paid salary and anything over their scheduled time they make $8 an hour after so like reverse overtime haha. thought that was BS. im going to school here probably in the spring to start a 4-6 year degree in mechanical or architectural engineering. median pay in that job is $38 an hour with $90k salarys plus its something i know i will love doing. i took a personality test at a local state college. 8 hour test but i learned alot about job outlook and what i want to do because i was very confused on what i want to do later in life. but i think i have found my calling

as for neighbors, i agree. they are the broken leg on the centipede of the neighborhood (family guy reference). they harass all the neighbors. not just me. but still..

Atleast turn those soft 8's into bead-locks. Your jeep has come a LOOOOONG way in the few years you had it. Do you still run stock gears? How does it handle those monsters? I wanna throw my 35's on but my clutch screams murder with just 33's. One word of advice, if you go the engineering route.... pay extreme attention in physics. I took 4 years of engineering in high school and 2 in college, and if you slack at all it will jump up and kick your butt harder than a kick-boxer wearing steel toes. Best of luck with it, its a good field to be in. BTW, I miss the rear windows plastered with manufacturer decals. BAMF Jeep
