Just read the whole thread...really ****ty you had a lot of work and personality in there

at least you are sticking around though...gota clean slate with a new XJ and lots of support from all of us!

i say find a 2door at a junk yard that has the roof thats good. cut the roof off from the bottom of the apillars wherever the damage from the roll starts and all the way back keeping it at the same height. then cut your roof off and weld the good roof in place

iv seen it done im pretty sure on this forum or maybe jeepforum but it can be done and you can resurect the jeep its just hard to see it smashed and about to be parted out! salvage it turn it into a wheeler or something dont scrap it!


but if your really going to part it out are you going to be willing to ship any of the parts???

yeah ive seen it before but there were alot of other things wrong with it so i dont think its worth it. better just to start over than keep dealing with the headaches.

what parts you looking for? sliders, skids, bumpers, front fascia, head lights, turn signals, cb, antenna, SYE, and shackles have all been spoken for.

That is 100% fixable. I think you'd regret parting it out in the long run.

well seeing as your jeep has inspired everything iv done to mine i wish i could help with the part out and get you back in an XJ buuttt

i was hoping to get the slipyoke and shackles cuz i have some spacer pucks and extended brake lines and was plannning going up in height!
good luck with the part out!!

nah just starting over clean. mines been having way to many problems to keep it up and running.

yeah but i keep finding more and more damage as i take stuff off. the unibody is actually tweaked in the back.

thanks man but yeah im finding alot of buyers for stuff..just need to get most of it gone as soon as possible. the perfect jeep ive been looking for forever is up for grabs!!

nah the still have 3.07s lol but the D30 shafts have IRO almost alloy tabs welded on them but i might be putting them in the new jeep.

i will let you know though

ive already got 4 other people who want them but if they fall through ill let you know lol

well, she may live again! got a sweet hook up, gonna sell off some armor and such to pay for a car to get me around and the jeep is going up to my gf's dad's place and were gonna cage it! im straightening the roof out in the mean time i put the hi-lift on the roof and got it pretty good looking! ill draw up some designs soon but i also gotta get the hatch working but she will be getting re-painted too since alot of the paint cracked and fell off in the crash

need to decide on a color..hmmm..

what color u thinking of what i do when i want to paint something is go into paint on the comp and use that color changing chart and see how it looks in dif colors
