well I got a couple pics of my JY finds. there is a lot more there, but I just didnt think of the stuff until I was tired and ready to go. working out in this kinda heat wears you out really quick.
I got a sweet, relatively rare set of switches. has a factory foglight switch!
I also picked up another 99+ manifold.

well dad thinks that its going to be running tonight. the only thing holding it up is the alt bracket, but I have only had time to work on it for like 30 mins in the past 2 weeks.

well I got some work done on the parts jeep, but not so much on mine.
I also might have a line on some really awesome parts if everything works out.
removed my first rear end.

well I still havent laid foot into the garage, but dad is sticking to his guns, on it being out this weekend. We're down to hours now. If I could just get to put some actual time in on it, it wouldnt be an issue at all

well I surprisingly got to work on the jeep some today. I got the trans cross member bolted on, and started the alt bracket. the belt I need is about a foot shorter than the original one.
Have you thought about putting an adjustable arm on the Alt like the old school cars used to have? To put tension on the belt and take up some of the slack.

nope, Im just gonna buy a shorter belt. I was just trying to show how much shorter the new setup is. with the ac completely deleted, and the clutch fan gone, Im hoping that I will get a noticeable gain from the lose of parasitic drag...technically even the shorter belt and less rolling resistance will help, even though it will be an unnoticeable amount, Im really banking on all these little things to really add up.
