sure thing. I hope you caught my post about the track times. and its funny that you brought up those old posts about my mpgs. as I have clarified I can run 25-28mpgs if I really try, but theres no reason for me to make up anything one here, I dont see the point in it. Like I said it normally averages about 22.

as far as the build goes, there is a ton more to get posted but just trying to sort out how im going to do it...Ive been contemplating just starting a new thread to help get rid of a lot of the banter and help solidify it a bit.

As far as a current update, im currently working on rewelding my header again, for like the 7th time. replacing my wideband, as it burned up. along with a tune up, oil change, and Im also gonna try out some other tires I have to see if they make it more formidable on the street.

It's good to catch up after such a long absence from here, Jeff. Good to see she's running and doing her thing.

I get 22.5 mpg with no real engine mods, just keeping mine in tune. I'll bet pulling 25 could be easy with the right exhaust.

Jeff, do you think most of your mpg gain is from removing weight and power loss (A/C delete, clutch fan delete, lightweight tires and rims, etc.) or is it from the computer tuning?

My entire build is based on the fact that all the little things add up. so the weight loss, parasitic drag, increased intake/exhaust flow, street tires, and I also 'manually' shift my AW4 so I can drive economically.

Sounds good, man. I've been seriously considering getting rid of my A/C and just putting an idler pulley in its place. It would clean up the engine compartment in mine quite a bit.

I'm replacing my motor and trans mounts with poly. Only got one in last night, but could already feel a difference while shifting. I highly recommend them!

In other news, I drove just short of 100 miles on just short of 4 gallons of gas. 24.5 mph with my 2" lift and stock tires lol!

putting my alternator where the ac mounts has been one of my best mods to date.

Just my word so; mine got 26 one time. most times 23-24 but now its like 13-14 so yes I believe a very fresh cleanly built motor could do it.

Well now that I have a dedicated racejeep, this one can actually find direction...before road manners had kept me from doing certain things but having the 100% street jeep opens this one up to be my more trail minded rig.

Plan is 2" lift with front coils, and most likely just blocks with a new spring pack in the rear. Then front and rear lockers, and light armor. With all that said and done it will be getting chopped sometime in the future
