I got the catch can put it. the whole point is to keep everything from catching your eye, and appear more organized. so keep that in mind when when realizing that it doesnt show up very well in pics

2 different options for the location of the AEM. My biggest issue is I dont think it will react well to mud and water

If you were brilliant enough to fab up a DTB manifold, why don't you figure out how to waterproof the AEM?

sounds a little offensive to me....but Ill go with it.

A: thats exactly what im doing hence why I said Im concerned about it, making it a problem that needs a solution

B: just cause someone is good at one thing doesnt make him good at everything ^ like maybe good at typing online, but not good with people ^

C: theres a chance you were legitimately trying to be constructive, but in black and white it doesnt sound so.

picked up a new head unit. the one in the jeep has to go. I cant decide on which one I want to use. I have this one, which has a sweet 3" lcd screen, USB ports, works with my phone and plays every type of media I can think of.

but I also have a nice JVC one that is a little older, but has much better sound output. but no usb, mem card, lcd, and only an analog input.

im torn between form and function

heres the new one.

do both lol. rock the old one under the seat or somewhere and use the new one in dash but run the output to the old input. the old one may make the new one sound better. rednecks with too many parts get creative!

well i actually have a third one, that I didnt consider because it is a 2 piece. it has a flip out screen in one. and a diskplayer/amp in the other. but theres not room for two, and i dont want one to get wet on the floor.

I think im gonna try the new one I just got, and see how it sounds...it may be plenty. then sell the older one.

thanks a lot. I dont know if I said about the 6speed or not...its been so long, but thats been the plan the entire time. the AW4 that I put in it is like brand new, and it is free, so im gonna run it for a while. then I can collect 6speed stuff while the jeep is mobile.

That would be sick, you could put one underneath facing forward and then one on the passenger side pointing down at an angle so that you have an automatic spotter if no one goes in your Jeep with you.
