I'm stating if your going to make a claim that you got 27 mpg then you should have the proof to back it up. I can say I got 50 mpg today just because it was Thursday dosent mean Its the truth. I'm not cluttering the thread up beyond this post, simply put show the proof or no ones going to believe it.

yeah I get 20+ on highway trips driving usually about 70, and that was before my oil change and I haven't done a regular tune up since I bought it. Also exhaust and intake are stock... I don't see why you couldn't do a little better than this. What have you done to make the 4.0 more efficient?

just read your whole thread. really nice jeep. i really like all the personalization, time, thought, and detail you put into it. And those tires. really cool. And i guess its believable that you have such awesome gas mileage. Good work.

Just read thru most of the whole thread. The cocky attitude has been more than displaced by the amount of work and details put into the engine of this jeep. You DO know tuning. I dont know about the specific claims youve made but I wouldn't disregard them either.
do you plan on a dyno sometime? waiting til no2?
shouldnt you consider a stroker build? I've peices one together for under 1200
great documenting, keep going

thank you, I dont try and be cocky, I just have over 40 pgs now and feel that this is enough to be trusted alone..........
now since you are awesome enough actually read whats going on...yes I am running an AEM and as of right now Im just street tuning it. it has settings for multiple tunes, and I have just been tuning it by using the AEMs MAP sensor, and the factory O2s.
However I just ordered ANOTHER AEM UEGO, after my first one's harness got destroyed, due to letting a buddy hook it up. now with this ill be making a power tune, with a separate MPG tune after I know how much of a safe zone I have.
As far as the dyno goes, It wont be going on the dyno unless, I a having issues with the N20, cant think of a single other mod to make, or I just go with some buddies and throw the jeep on for gits and shiggles. street tuning is just as effective, if not more effective then dyno tuning, its just not as controlled, or as publicly accepted (very hard to do without speeding). Speaking of N20 Im not sure if I updated this or not, but the n20 setup that I thought I had, got sold out from under me. I told a buddy of mine that I would DEFINITELY take the setup he had forsale, then after saying hed hold it for me, he went and sold it.

Just spent hours reading all of it. So if I may, in a nutshell basically everything possible to reduce heat has been done and a bored TB and 4-hole injectors(784's or 703's?) and an AEM(gonna go google that haha) oh and the new exhaust headers and full exhaust... What intake are you running? I don't recall anything about that for some reason, is it just stock?

well I dont like to post up things until they are complete, but as of right now the intake is a cold air type of setup with an open air cone filter.
and yes its a borla header, into a vband mandrel downpipe back to a straight through muffler and a mandrel tailpipe. I do think the close detail to heat has made a big difference as well.
My absolute favorite mod recently has been a IAC delete. this is a block off plate that you use to delete the IAC motor. it makes my jeep run like a brand new car. no idle surges at all, and very smooth operation. it gets rid of parts that an break, restriction in the intake, and even though its minimal electrical drain and overall weight. the last 2 are almost negligible, but my jeep works so well due to not forgetting the little details.
