yea, im stoked about it. it saved me enough cash so I might go directport nitrous to get even more power out of it, instead of the single fogger wet kit Im also considering.

I think its funny that you still think they are wrong, when in fact they are right. I do know about hondas, and racing in general, and all hondas are slow, period. there are certain aspects of a car, and if you pick ANY of them, ill tell you a car (or a handful) that will beat a honda.
build time, money, hp, ET, ANYTHING.

take yours for example so you had 530hp? so what. I bet you had a bunch of time in that. and what did you run? 11s? theres a half a dozen evos at the shop that have an exhuast and a tune, and run very low 11s, or high 10s.
lemme guess....yours was way cheaper than an evo right? take a $1000 1g, and throw a turbo on it and you go 10s for less than 3k. I built a 30 psi 20g setup in a mirage with $1400 and parts I had laying around.
OK, so youre not slow, you went 11.1! (insert what ever number) someone has gone the same, on less money and time, and they still didnt go home in a honda.

now im not bashing your knowledge, skill, ability, workmanship or anything. Just saying that if you would have applied the same time and/or money to a different car, you would have went faster, and had a little more class. feel free to rebuttal, because Id like to see if you can get an understanding of why people make fun of you.....that and I dont have a build update

I agree with both mountaineerJeff and 99xj. Honda can and are fast when built. But the part where I agree with Jeff is the time and money. I know a guy in my town that has a built hatch. IT is fast but if said if has about 15,000 in the motor and about 30,000 in the whole car and years of build time on it. For 30,000 I am positive you could buy a car for that much or less and be way faster than a Honda.

I don't have a problem with Hondas. I love them. Simple to fix and run forever. Would I ever build one? No. What I hate about Hondas is when ppl watch fast and the furious to much and put a fart can and a cold air on there civic and all of a sudden they have the fastest car in the county.
