nothing wrong with a bit of BS lol

So I got and installed my steering box brace. looks like it should help... lol

I have also had a vibration that kicks in at 50-65 mph and found my SYE (HNT) flange had some play in it. replaced with a new flange (was on vehicle about 6-7 years) hopefully this takes care of the vibs... I would get a FULL SYE kit, but i have the 242, not yet ready for another T/cae as i don't knwo if i want to rebuild a 231 with a 4-1 kit... or a doubler? idk... so this will work untill I figure it out.

I also had to repalced the spedo sensor o-ring, it started leaking and my case was almost empty... ouch.

Mine is a rugged ridge brace... a little meh on the quality. didn't really "bolt in" but I drilled some holes and made it work, no big deal. i would reccomend rusty's. they range form 50-80$. I got mine with the Flange and free shipping so I said why not... (was 58 for the brace)

I am a little confused as to how to mount the fuel tank skid. It needs to go under my "aftermarket hitch" but when we did the relocation brackets we welded the hitch/brackets/body together creating a solid rear end/brace for the rear unibody.... lol. not I don't knwo how to attach the skid... won't even slid over it. time to get creative! I want it on for this moab trip. and DEFINATLY on for Colorado.

Why wont it work??? does it just sitt a little lower, cause it has to be under the hitch? In that case ta-hell-with-it lets section the sides down a little...

the side plates that come down for the hitch wont allow it to sldie over it like the one in the JY we took it off of. and since its welded on i can't put in under it either lol.

I guess its decision time for the bumper... If i get one with a hitch then ill just cut the sides till it fits and bolt the skid over it but leave the cross bar to brace the back. and cut off the hitch 2x2... Or ill have to cut the sides of the skid and bolt threw the hitch side plates? idk lol, kinda hard to explain without showing you lol

or a mix of the two? It was getting late and jsut didn't want to deal with it at 9 pm last night.
