Today I tore down my front axle and installed a locker.(should've just locked it from the start) took a bit more time and work then I thought as there was water in my front diff. The bearings had slight pitting in them and wanted to fix it before it got worse.

Well I got my Home made CB mount completed, and wired in. Made it out of angle iron, cut and shapped, bolted under the tail light.

Let me know what you think about a lunchbox locker up front, i am thinkin about one for my 60 but i need some persuading...
but badass!
Good call on replacin those bearings while you were in there, long drive to moab last thing you need is for them to have issues

I will let you know what I think of it, I've been on the fence about it for a while, then it poped up on KSL for a steal and just jumped on it... I plan for hydrolic assist so not to worried about turning.

Yeah I hate tearing somthing apart more then once when you may not have to.

also, I would highley recomend the spartan to anyone for a LB locker, the pins are bigger, its super quiet, and easy to install. I wish I had one in my front after installing the lock right...

I'm also looking forward to seeing how the lock right performs on the rocks... if so I got one in my sights!

Real nice job here on the mount. I sent you a PM about the CB Mount... not sure if you got it or not?

Good looking Jeep you got there.

Went to moab this past weekend. AMAZING! love living right next to such an amazing place to go offroad and the views are EPIC! a few pics, more to fallow I am sure.

Very happy with how things turned out. I ended up bending my T/case skid plate, Tore off a fender flare, and blew out my track bar bushing.
