The front is already linked

And n20 has a nice setup but his geometry seemed off, it was either the pic or links but his jeep has some rear steer when flexed out.

But what you said is true, but can aslo be solved look at N20s build hes got it down!
I have seen in, its a nice setup, but still don't think its worht the effort with how well my rear works. I honestly wish I had done leafs up front (the Toyota blood in me loves leafs)

My front is linked. its a radious arm setup (2 links + track bar) It has no real draw backs. I haven't been getting the unloading that people talk about with them, only thing I need is a center limit strap for straight wall climbs, it does lift/unload when going straight up, but put a little angle or dip to it and its just fine. I would almost prefer a suck down winch up front to be able to suck it down for steep water falls, But even wih nothing it climbs pretty good and rarely scares me lol

I am pretty much done with it other then adding a few gussets to the cage, fixing the gear box, Adding a cross brace below the motor with a center lmit strap. I don't want to put anymore time/money into it unless it breaks and limits me from driving it. I hvae done most of the hard trails in UT in moab and St Goerge without struggle so no need to add more headaches to a function setup. I am already into it way more then it deserves lol. I still am not 100% sure I want to keep it lol

It is a nice setup, I think its good for the room under a cherokee with his lift hight, Not everyone runs links threw the floor like rock monkey If I where to link it thats how I would want it lol

what do you think Derek? links worth it for mine?

Honestly no. Your leaves work great. Until you swap to bigger axles or destroy leaf packs everytime out I say leave it.

The only way I'd do links is how Braden(rockmonkey) and Brian did theirs, through the floor with long links to avoid rear steer. But lots of time and money involved in it.

Agreed, I I do need a track bar for the rear though lol

Yeah, and at that point I would want to redue the front lol to much work for somthing that already does well for me.

Hey Tristin. I am loving your hybrid cage. I talked with Derek for awhile tonight and he sold me on doing a hybrid cage. How much did the materials/metal cost you? I have access to a welder. I just need to know how much material I need and some help getting it cut and bent.

Hey sorry its been a while since I checked this thread... it was about 330$ for all the DOM. But I got in on a group buy threw a local shop and got the 1.5 DOM for about 2.80 a foot IIRC. I bought 5 23' sticks and I have 1 stick left over for some rear tube flares or side bracing...

Pretty cheap to DIY. Just make sure you know what your doing! I had a few people to bounce ideas off of and ended up copying some of the ideas from my favorites I found online. Good luck!

Mine is for sale... Could just buy it lol
