Just read threw your built for the first time... that was about the most painless axle mockup I've ever seen! I didn't realize how cheap you got that setup!

installed my freshly powder coated simulated beadlocks, looks a TON better to me. had to flex it out a bit lol. fully flex just before it was going to lift a back tire.

Stayed late tonight and replaced the front RC bushings again, some general maintnence and installed the injector insulators per jeeps tsb for heat soak. Just a percaution. Jeep says to put it on cyl 3 only. I figured for 1$ a piece i would do all 6.

trying to get all the stuff done before moab!

I went to the junk yard yesterday. FINALLY found a gas tank skid plate. only charged me $7.48 lol

They cut it a little to drill a hole in the tank. So (builtnotbought89) welded it for me and then I quickly hit it with a sander and sprayed it black again. yet to bolt it up thought.

I made some fog light brackets to mount them to the fender supports out of 1x1 square tubing so that i could tuck them out the way (don't like flashy lights sticking out) Just need to wire them up.

I also got started with a CB mount that tucks behind the tail light on the drivers side. (angle cost me $4.60)

Now I can't wait to get a rear bumper on this thing... just trying to figure out a tire carrier...

haha, But in good time you will be able to go without a fear of damage, and it will be a beast! it's a bummer your not. Would be fun to see what your rig could do, even in its last form. I just remember it being super flexy lol
