Video going up Black Mamba. Had a spotter at the top confused and got me off camber pretty good for a min.


Coming down Rocker Knocker entrance. Tallest jeep in the group and i still bottomed out lol.

Nope too hot down here in the south to get out and wrench on it.

Few things on the agenda though.

1)Cut and fold rear quarter
2)Order and install rear bumper
3)Convert to rear disc brakes
4)Gussett the front axle
5)Order rear upper quarter panel armor and install
6)Upgrade fan clutch
7)Fan override switch

Will also be building another xj this fall for my father

Well got the rear bumper,brackets, hitch ,and skid plate off. Started the cut process on my passenger 1/4 but ran out of time. Will finish that side up thursday or friday hopefully and finish them up this weekend. Few pics of my progress.

nice looking jeep u got. how does the front locker feel on pavement? and binding or turning issues?

Thanks! Feels fine hardly know its their unless you make a full lock turn and you hear it click. When it was new though it made alot of noise but mellowed out. Now offroad and in 4wd it can create some turning issues in tight technical corners.

Finished the passenger side fold. Just need to rivet the panels together and seal it up.

Well got my driver side cut and folded. Got passenger side panels riveted together. Should finish everything up tomorrow and move on the to the bumper install sunday.
