Well did it first test flex on a old abonded warehouse loading dock. Did ok except my rear stuffed to far before the front ever maxed out. Will be addign bumpstop to the rear then reflexing to see how far i can take the front. When driving the rear up the ramp i decided to find out how close my front would be at while turned and sure enough i needed to remove some more fender. Removed some more fender tongiht but need to finish it up tomorrow. For now a few poser flex shots but not really maxed out yet

That's cool. And it looks great! And at the risk of sounding dumb, did you disconnect the swaybar? Lol

I'm curious to how you can go that high without having issues with that LP D30 front axle and people have been telling me I should swap it out for a HP D30 when I'm just planning on a 3 inch lift with 31's.

Because they are morons who keep repeating what they hear. Wranglers have had LP D30s from 97-2006 and they are fine all day on 35s. Now for some reason everyone thinks that the lighter xj is somehow going to fall apart with it. Yes the hp version is slightly stronger but you will be 100% ok with the axle you have and your tire choice.

lift has nothing to do with the low pinion axle the low pinion axle is less favorable cause when going over rocks there is more stuff in harms way cause where the pinion is...its at the bottom on a low pinion up top on a high pinion

high pinion...

low pinion...

Well flexed it it out today till i lifted a tire. Absolutely no tire rub on the fenders with tires turned and flexed. I cut a tad more than i usually see on xjs but oh well i dont have to worry about it anymore. Got all my measurements for bumpstops and will start some of that up tomorrow. Also picked up a brand new 35" Pro Comp Xterrain for a spare and started cleaning up the zj tank skid plate. Got to sand it down and fab up the mounting holes then paint it.

haha.....Thanks dude, you seriously just made my day. I'll be shooping for a lift now and not worrying about an axle swap. Hopefullly I won't need a SYE either. THanks for the help.

I have 15% on my regal and I have to roll down the windows to see, but maybe because the backup lights are weak sauce....Anyways, my XJ has manual windows, I'd rather avoid that issue. Haha.

Its fine but my back light bulbs are silverstar and a tad brighter than factory. Though im use to driving my daily driver which is a much larger vehicle( Dodge ram 2500 quad cab on 37s) so the jeep is supers easy to back in and out of places.

Got the pinch seam inside the front fender well hammered over. Got my spare tire mounted on a wheel and sorta secured in the cargo area.

Got my winch in today. Going to try out rough country's new line of winches. Picked up their 9500lb winch with synthetic line with aluminum fairlead. It even has a wireless remote, how cool is that. Should get it mounted up this weekend and give it a few test pulls.
